Pis Yedili - Dirty Seven 1.0.6

Pis Yedili, also known as "Dirty Seven," is a shedding-type card game designed for two or more players. The primary goal is to eliminate the cards in your possession by matching either the number or suit of the previous card in the discard pile.

Many variations of Pis Yedili exist, each with distinct names like Craits, Last One, Mau Mau, Pesten, Rockaway, Swedish Rummy, Switch, Last Card, Screw Your Neighbour, and Tschausepp. More extreme variations include Bartok, Mao, Quango, Zar, Taki, and Uno.

Game Play

Each player is dealt seven cards while the remaining deck is placed face down in the center of the table. The game commences with the player on the left of the dealer starting by discarding a club card. If a club card isn't available, cards are drawn from the stockpile until a club card is obtained. At this stage, penalty/special card effects are not applicable.

• If the top card on the discard pile is not a Jack (J), players can either match the rank or suit of the previous card.
• A Jack (J) can be played on any card, with the player then nominating a suit.
• If a Jack (J) is atop the pile, players must play a card of the nominated suit. However, playing another Jack (J) at this point is prohibited.

For instance: When a six of clubs is played, the subsequent player can play any other sixes, clubs, or any Jack (J) - subsequently declaring a different suit.

If a player cannot match the rank or suit of the top discard pile card and lacks a Jack (J), they draw cards until acquiring a playable one or pass to the next player after drawing at least one card.

Cards Requiring Special Actions

• Jack (J): Change Suit
• 8: Skip Turn
• 10: Reverse Direction
• 7: Draw Cards
• Ace (A): Play Another Card

Scoring

The first player to empty their hand wins. Other players accumulate penalty points based on their remaining cards' values:

• 25 points for a Jack (J)
• 20 points for a 7
• 15 points for an Ace (A)
• 10 points for a King (K) or Queen (Q)
• Spot cards hold their face value (e.g., two points for a two).

If a player wins by discarding a 7 as their final card, other players' penalty points are tripled; if they win with a Jack (J), penalty points are doubled. In cases where no cards remain in the deck, victory goes to the player with the lowest point score in hand after four consecutive games.
